At Jean Wolford Photography & Production Corp, I believe photography should be more than just posing for a picture—it should be an experience filled with movement, emotion, and genuine moments of joy. My goal is to create a relaxed and engaging atmosphere where everyone, from toddlers to reluctant spouses, feels comfortable and truly enjoys being in front of the camera.

 

My love for photography began in childhood, when a 35mm camera from Santa made me feel like the coolest kid in fourth grade. I captured anything and everything, much to my parents’ dismay—yet my mother lovingly developed every roll, no matter how random the shots. That early passion stayed with me, and nearly 12 years ago, my professional journey took off when an artist in Alaska asked to paint one of my photographs. His work went on to be displayed in galleries, and to this day, I proudly display a replica of that painting in my home.

 

One of my proudest accomplishments was the Star Front Porch Project in 2020, an initiative that brought our community together during an incredibly challenging time. What started as a simple idea quickly gained momentum, with over 100 families and businesses participating. The project was picked up by local and national news (appearing in 14 syndications), and the proceeds from photo purchases were donated to the Star Outreach Food Bank, which serves over 10,000 families annually. In recognition of this effort, the City of Star, Idaho, honored me with the Q1 Community Award for my dedication to strengthening and uniting our community. As the city put it, “You brought us together when coming together was hard.”

 

My primary focus is family photography, capturing everything from maternity and newborn moments to full family sessions. My approach emphasizes natural movement and emotional connections, ensuring that each session is both fun and meaningful.

 

Beyond family photography, I also specialize in personal branding and product photography for businesses, offering high-quality formal, casual, and lifestyle images to help entrepreneurs showcase their brand across social media and marketing platforms. As a social media manager for multiple businesses and nonprofit organizations, I am passionate about helping brands grow organically through strategic and visually compelling content.
